Good Evening My name is Suzanne Salloum and I am from Sydney. I have been competing on stage for over 17 years in competitions such as swimsuit and pageantry. I love gracing the stage and being creative. I have represented both NSW and Australia on the world stage only a few weeks ago with my highest ranking being 1 st runner up Internationally. Apart from the stage i love horse racing I grew up on a track since i was 5 with my brother being a greyhound trainer for the past 30 years. I met Gai Waterhouse in 2017 at an event i was working at randwick racecourse was amazing to meet her as shes my favourite trainer. I have picked the last 4 years melb cup winners in a row and take a massive interest in the sport. I have never done a fashions on the field so id love the opportunity to be chosen to do so. In pageantry we have a section we compete in called fun fashion a way to express ourselves with unique fashions on stage which i believe is similar to fashions on the field. Ive worked an extensive amount of corporate events as i run a promotions agency and worked at large upscale events for companies such as Lexus which is the major sponsor for Melbourne cup and also the car i own. I have a large personality and given the opportunity id be a great asset to have as part of the Melbourne Cup Best dressed 2023.
