Hello My name is Nikki from Dublin Ireland. I’ve watched racing style online for years globally… however it’s always loved the Australian race fashion as it truly stands out. I love getting fashion ideas from around the world and combining them with my own individual style. I’m a busy, working mum of 2 boys and my outlet for relaxation is coming up with style ideas for races in Ireland. The Killarney races in Co Kerry is my favourite. I absolutely love how my outfit today has come together. I’ve mixed upcycled items with vintage and borrowed items. My dress was an evening gown which I shortened to make race day appropriate and I’m delighted to get more wear out of it for daytime events. My sandals are gold Lodi sandals that go with everything. My umbrella is vintage and borrowed from my mum-in-law who is my partner in crime when it comes to racing fashion. It compliments my other ‘hint of pink’ accessories in my nail polish colour, earrings, vintage/borrowed clutch and the pink trim on my hat designed by Galway milliner Caithriona King Designs. I love edgy but elegant style and I hope this outfit meets that brief :-) It would be a dream to attend a racing event in Australia!
