When I think Melbourne Cup I think of the horses in brown, the lush greenery and of course the reason we are all there to take home the golden trophy. With this in mind I used my outfit to paint that narrative. Drawing on the European sartorial styling that you would expect from Pitti Uomo. Complimented by monochromatic tonal browns from head to toe with the use of gold throughout allows the yellow rose to star against a tonal backdrop.
