About me: I’ve always had a love for fashion and I love going to the races. My first winning fashions on the field look was at the Cooma Cup in 2004 and I’ve been entering fashions on the field comps on and off over the years. I’ve had success winning in Sydney and Brisbane but my dream has always been to do well in Melbourne, the pinnacle of Fashions on the Field! I’ve worked in the corporate world, in fashion, and now I’m working in marketing for a hotel group where I can continue to be creative in a different way. My love of fashion has never wavered. About my look: I’m a big believer in style and finding pieces that suit me. I am a big believer in sustainable fashion too. I bought this suit about 5 years ago and loved the beading on the lapel and pockets that created a real point of difference. The shirt was from my corporate days. I created a silk bow tie a few years ago that I have worn with shirts and shirt dresses numerous times over the years but I added it to this look as it needed something more. Kathryn Lee Millinery created the perfect hat for my Derby Day look. I love the pearls which softens a very masculine look and ties in with the white in the shirt. I wore pearl earrings to tie in with the hat. My heels are by Wittner. I was originally going to wear black pumps but it was too heavy for the look so these heels are great for a Spring look.
