As a Seamstress in a remote town, my Yiayia taught me the basics of sewing and I wanted to make a special dress for my 21st Birthday. Growing up in Charleville, I was surrounded by red dirt, and flowers were scarce, so I embraced the spring florals on this fabric I found whilst on Rural Medicine Placement in Emerald, with a highlight to the hot pink accents in the florals through the sleeves. The ombre of colours and height of my millinery complement my outfit through its dimension and poise.
