I've always had an such a love for vintage fashion and when I came across this Rachel Gilbert dress with the contrasting apple green & blue check, I just knew I had to throw it back to 60's. The result is my modern take on 60's Mod. l wanted to give the outfit some extra edge and drama so decided to add the custom made shirt, its extreme angular collar pair with the other geometric elements but are softened with the femineity of the small puff sleeves, playful pony tail and pearl embellishments. The custom Ael Este bow made by Ashlee meshes the two personalities of the outfit together adding balance.
