I spotted the Gorman suit on an Instagram story and decided I wanted to work with that this year for our local cup day. I waited for a sale and bought it online. I bought the orange hat and made the flowers to stitch underneath. I added the white ribbon for some contrast and to tie in with the white in my bag and the white flowers in the print of the suit. I didn’t have time to purchase orange shoes so I covered an existing pair of shoes I had in my wardrobe with orange tulle. I added the same tulle to my top handle bag. My accessories were items I already owned and I loved the way the white flower earrings complimented the floral design in the print.
