My mum was a tailor; she used to make wedding dresses as a career; for herself she would go to op shops and buy clothes to create her own unique, glamorous wardrobe. Mum always loved dressing up and looked immaculate, she would have loved seeing me compete in these competitions. Unfortunately, she died in 2008. I started competing in 2013 so she never lived to see it. Her flair and glamour is where I get it from.
